Crow Hunting Season License Requirements and Dates in Kentucky

Licensing for Various Age Groups

Hunters Younger Than 12 Years

  • License Status: Exempt from the requirement to hold a hunting license.

Youth Hunters (Ages 12-15)

  • License Needed: An Annual Youth Hunting License is required. The license is already included in the Youth Sportsman's License.

Hunters Aged 16 and Older

  • License Options: Hunters in this age group must have either a Day (1 or 7-day) Hunting License or an Annual Hunting License. These licenses are included in the Sportsman's and Disability/Senior License packages.

  • Statewide Season: September 1, 2023 - November 7, 2023.

Upcoming Season Dates

  • Statewide Season: January 4, 2024 - February 29, 2024.

During these seasons, the hunting of crows is allowed for either sex, and hunters must follow the statewide regulations.
