Lookout Mountain Unit #64

  • Public Lands: 38%
  • Location: Beginning at the junction of I-84 and State Hwy 86 northeast of Baker, the Lookout Mountain Unit #64 covers areas in northeastern Oregon.
  • Borders: It spans from the junction of I-84 and Hwy 86 to Powder River near Goose Creek, Powder River to Snake River, Snake River to Birch Creek at Farewell Bend, Birch Creek to I-84, and back to Hwy 86.

Malheur River Unit #66

  • Public Lands: 69%
  • Location: The Malheur River Unit #66 begins at Burns and covers regions in southeastern Oregon.
  • Borders: It extends from Burns to US Hwy 395, Seneca, Logan Valley County Rd (FR 16), FR 14, FR 1663 near Antelope Mountain, 1663 and Otis Valley Rd (Harney County Rd 304) to Drewsey, Drewsey Rd (Harney County Rd 305) to US Hwy 20, Hwy 20 to Harper, Harper-Follyfarm Rd (Malheur County Rds 585 and 513) to State Hwy 78 near Follyfarm, and northwest on State Hwy 78 back to Burns.

Maupin Unit #40

  • Public Lands: 9%
  • Location: The Maupin Unit #40 starts at Maupin and covers areas in north-central Oregon.
  • Borders: It covers the area from Maupin to US Hwy 197, Tygh Valley, State Hwy 216, Grass Valley, Hwy 97 to Shaniko, State Hwy 218 to Antelope, Antelope Creek Rd, Hwy 97 to Hwy 197, S Junction Rd, Deschutes River at S Junction, Deschutes River to Maupin, and back to Maupin.

Maury Unit #36

  • Borders: It covers the area from Sisters to State Hwy 242, Pacific Crest Trail, junction of the "crest of the Cascades" with the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail (PCT) in T11S R8E Sec 17, Crest of the Cascades, south boundary of Warm Springs Tribal Reservation, Warm Springs Tribal Reservation boundary following Jefferson Creek and Metolius River to Lake Billy Chinook, Lake Billy Chinook to Crooked River, Hwy 97, and back to Redmond and Sisters.

Minam Unit #60

  • Location: The Minam Unit #60 begins at Minam and covers areas in northeastern Oregon.
  • Borders: It extends from Minam to State Hwy 82, head of Wallowa Lake, W Fork Trail, Hawkins Pass, summit of Eagle Mountains, Granite Butte, summit separating Big Minam and Catherine Creek drainages past Burger Butte and Meadow Mountain, Cartwheel Ridge Trail 1907, Lodgepole Trail 1920, Moss Springs, Point Prominence Road to the boundary of Wallowa-Whitman NF, and back to Minam.

  • Location: The Silver Lake Unit #76 begins at Silver Lake and encompasses regions in south-central Oregon.
  • Borders: It covers the area from Silver Lake to State Hwy 31, FR 29, FR 28, FR 30, Pikes Crossing, Sycan River, Powers Crossing (Teddy Powers Meadow), Rd 44, Yamsey Guard Station at the head of Williamson River, Klamath Marsh-Silver Lake Road, Bear Flat, Hwy 31, and back to Silver Lake.

  • Location: The Silvies Unit #72 starts at Burns and covers areas in eastern Oregon.

  • Location: The Sled Springs Unit #57 is located near Wallowa in northeastern Oregon.
  • Borders: It starts at Wallowa and extends west on State Hwy 82 to Elgin, northeast on Grande Ronde River to the Oregon-Washington state line, east along the state line to Joseph Creek, southwest on Joseph Creek to Chesnimnus Creek, southeast on Chesnimnus Creek to Crow Creek Road, south on Crow Creek Road to Hwy 82, and finally northwest on Hwy 82 back to Wallowa.

Snake River Unit #59

  • Public Lands: 92%
  • Location: The Snake River Unit #59 begins at the confluence of Imnaha and Snake Rivers in northeastern Oregon.
  • Borders: It encompasses the area from the confluence of Imnaha and Snake Rivers, southeast on Snake River to Thirty-two Point Creek, southwest on Thirty-two Point Creek to Summit Road, southwest and northwest on Summit Road to North Fork Dry Creek, southwest on North Fork Dry Creek and northwest on Dry Creek to Imnaha River, and north on Imnaha River back to the confluence of Imnaha and Snake Rivers.

Sprague Unit #33

  • Public Lands: 72%
  • Location: The Sprague Unit #33 starts at Chiloquin and covers areas in south-central Oregon.
  • Borders: It covers the region from Chiloquin to Williamson River, US Hwy 97, State Hwy 62, Crater Lake National Park boundary, Sand Creek, Scott Creek Road 66, Klamath Marsh-Silver Lake Road, Yamsey Guard Station, FR 44, Sycan River at Powers Crossing, Sprague River, Williamson River at Chiloquin, and back to the starting point.

Upper Deschutes Unit #34

  • Location: The Upper Deschutes Unit #34 begins at Bend and covers areas in central Oregon.

  • Location: The Whitehorse Unit #68 starts at Follyfarm and covers areas in southeastern Oregon.
  • Borders: It encompasses the region from Follyfarm, southeast on State Hwy 78 to US Hwy 95, northeast on Hwy 95 to Jordan Valley, east on Jordan Valley-Silver City Rd to Oregon-Idaho state line, south on Oregon-Idaho state line to the Oregon-Nevada state line, west on the Oregon-Nevada state line to Denio, northeast on Co Rd 201 through Fields and Andrews to Follyfarm, completing the loop.

White River Unit #41

  • Public Lands: 43%
  • Location: The White River Unit #41 begins at The Dalles and covers areas in northern Oregon.
  • Borders: It spans from The Dalles, east on Columbia River to US Hwy 197, south on Hwy 197 to Deschutes River at Maupin, south on Deschutes River to the north boundary of Warm Springs Tribal Reservation boundary, west on the northern Warm Springs Tribal Reservation boundary (McQuinn Strip line) to Hwy 216 and Hwy 26, northwest on Hwy 26 to Hwy 35, northeast on Hwy 35 to Hood River, east on Columbia River to The Dalles, completing the loop. (The McQuinn Strip portion of White River Unit and Warm Springs Tribal Reservation was closed to public hunting on Sept. 21, 1992, until further notice.)
