Summer Flounder (General)

  • Season: May 3 - Dec 31
  • Limit: 4 fish/person/day

Summer Flounder (Special Shore)***

  • Season: May 3 - Dec 31
  • Limit: 2 fish @ 17 inches/person/day + 2 fish @ 18 inches/person/day

Tautog (Blackfish)

  • Minimum Size: 16 inches, Max 1 fish >21 inches
  • Apr 1 - May 31: 3 fish/person/day
  • June 1 - July 31: CLOSED
  • Aug 1 - Oct 14: 3 fish/person/day
  • Oct 15 - Dec 31: 5 fish/person/day

Weakfish (Squeteague)

  • Minimum Size: 16 inches
  • Season: Year-round
  • Limit: 1 fish/person/day

Winter Flounder ** (Blackback)

  • Minimum Size: 12 inches
  • Season: Mar 1 - Dec 31
  • Limit: 2 fish/person/day

*Circle hooks must be used when fishing with bait.

**The harvesting or possession of winter flounder is prohibited in specific areas of Narragansett Bay and adjacent waters.
