  • Hunting Start Date: April 1, 2024
  • Hunting End Date: May 10, 2024
  • Location: Private lands in Game Zone 1 and 2
  • Bag Limits (Residents): 3 gobblers per season, no more than one per day, no more than one (1) from April 1-10 on private land and WMAs in Game Zones 1 & 2
  • Bag Limits (Nonresidents): 2 gobblers per season, no more than one per day, no more than one (1) from April 1-10 on private land and WMAs in Game Zones 1 & 2

Game Zones 3 & 4

  • Hunting Start Date: March 22, 2024
  • Hunting End Date: April 30, 2024
  • Location: Private lands in Game Zone 3 and 4
  • Bag Limits (Residents): 3 gobblers per season, no more than one per day, no more than one (1) from March 22-31 on private land in Game Zone 3 & 4
  • Bag Limits (Nonresidents): 2 gobblers per season, no more than one per day, no more than one (1) from March 22-31 on private land in Game Zone 3 & 4

Statewide on WMA lands

  • Hunting Start Date: April 1, 2024
  • Hunting End Date: April 30, 2024
  • Location: WMA lands statewide
  • Bag Limits (Residents): 3 gobblers per season, no more than one per day
  • Bag Limits (Nonresidents): 2 gobblers per season, no more than one per day

Fall Turkey

Fall turkey hunting has never been permitted on a statewide basis in South Carolina. Therefore, there are no specific hunting seasons for fall turkey.
